Break Out!

Break Out!

On earth we learn that many circumstances and conditions control what we can or cannot do. Our experiences from living on earth have taught us that the only way to transcend a limitation is to change the outer condition that appears to limits us. In other words we have believed that the only way to change our life experiences is to change something outside of ourselves. That is one reason why we hang onto the belief that if everyone believes as we do, then everything will be ok. The truth is we have convinced ourselves that our beliefs have to be the only right way to believe, in an effort to help us feel good about ourselves and about the path we take. Many of our outer experiences or conditions are the direct result of how we see ourselves.

Countless civilizations have fallen because they lost the belief that they were worthy and they simply conformed, to no voice and no inner knowledge that they were more than slaves to other people’s ideas. Our inner belief of ourselves directly affects our will to live and our will to become better. Our faith that we are more than mere human beings struggling in a confusing world is the foundational power that will help us to transcend everything we currently experience on earth.

Sometimes we do have to remove ourselves from situations in order for us to begin to grow. But when we do this it’s important to understand how growth takes place. Temporary growth happens when you are freed from difficult circumstances and you take a road that reflects the same beliefs you carry inside. Real growth begins when you are willing to see that your beliefs have kept you from going beyond the view you currently have about what life is about and you are now willing to see new ideas. Real growth begins when you know there is much more to understand and to use as a building block for further growth.

Changing how you see life and how you see yourself opens new possibilities of growth. This takes a willingness to understand, with love for yourself, that it’s ok to grow beyond your current understanding about yourself and life. When you love yourself based on no conditions you don’t label the past with condemnation but you see it thru loving eyes as the path you needed to walk to in order to get to the place you are now at where you want to learn more.

When you judge or condemn yourself you remove yourself from the force that created you, God’s Unconditional Love. The Bible speaks of judgment and to leave it to the Father. Why? Because the Father only wants you to come back home and His judgment is to help you turn from your ways. But when you judge yourself you remove opportunities waiting to help you grow closer to God. You change the energy in your own beliefs of yourself where you cannot be ‘one’ with God’s love for you because you are overwhelmed with fear and guilt. You cripple your ability to remove yourself from decisions you have made that hurt your growth.

Oneness is the goal with the Father but if you are united with an energy that opposes the energy that created you then you have chosen to remain separate for now. To become one with the Father you have to return to the energy He used to create you, the pure force of Unconditional Love, before you can join Him.  It really is that simple and your ability to take back your life begins with your willingness to see beyond and to understand more.

Many people in life are very angry and fearful simply because they have lost their ability to see themselves as they truly are, spiritual beings having a human experience. If you cannot gain power over the external conditions that you think control your life experiences then what can you do? If you asked the question differently you might find the answer. “Do external things really have power over us, or do they have power over us ONLY to the extent that we think they do?” In other words, where is the center of the power that keeps us stuck in our situations? Is it outside ourselves, meaning we can’t do anything about it, or is it in our minds, meaning we CAN do something about it?

How we see things is determined by the level of understanding we are currently at. To raise your understanding of life and your ability to have victory over experiences you encounter in this life can only happen when you see things from a higher perspective. Taking back your life is what begins a path of freedom from the feelings of entrapment you experience from external conditions in life.

Much of what we think has power over us in this world, has only the power by what we allow it to have over us. To gain a deeper understanding of why things happen and who we really are begins with a choice to see there is more to life.

First understand that we see thru filtered lenses of which we have chosen to be as all there is to know about life. We believe that what we know is all there is to know in an effort to feel secure about everything. This is why many people feel that their view of something is the only truth. It’s their way of feeling safe in their world.

This need to feel safe in our world is a survival mechanism but because we are meant to be creators along side with God, never greater than Him, we cannot accept remaining in a place where growth isn’t allowed. We find moments where we want to break out of the four walls we have formed around us in an effort for security.

Religion no longer answers our greater questions and near death stories open our minds to a greater God than is taught. If religion is meant as an avenue for God to talk to us, then religion needs to open up to a higher message. We are ready to break free of the prison walls that have kept us from growing and embracing God and His Greatness.

We take off the colored lenses to find incredible joy and beauty of God and His love for all of us and we will no longer settle for a primitive teaching that is actually crying out to share more. It’s time we take back control over our own growth and no longer settle for old ways of living.

War is a primitive way that must go and it’s time we settle our differences in a civilized manner. Get out of the battles of needing to be right and look for ways we can learn to know each other. When we feel understood, we are more willing to see how we can make things work. When we cannot hide our inner prejudices and judgments, we then must lay our differences on the table and find a solution that will help each to become better people. This is not about “our way” as the only way. God made us different on purpose.

Look at the flowers in a field that are different and yet the beauty is magnificent. Our differences, when connected to the heart of Oneness, can bring together a magnificent creation, which creates beyond our imagination. When we learn and feel how our choices affect everyone, knowing we were created to unite with the Greater Whole, we will want to make different choices. In feeling how our choices affect others, we gain a direct experience that opens up our understanding. We relate directly to how our choices affect others and this changes us from within.

To see that the real root problem on earth is our lack of love and acceptance for ourselves, we would understand that our selfish choices are created to help us feel good about ourselves. If we felt the love and acceptance He has always had for us, we would not search for anything outside of God’s love, because we would already know we have everything we need. Our lack would cease to exist. Therefore the real problem that keeps us from growing and becoming all God created is our inability to connect with God’s Unconditional love for us.

We are created from the pure force of this very personal Unconditional love. It is in us, it is the force that keeps us united with Him and we have never been without it, but we can’t feel it. Why? We can’t feel it because we have lost connection to it, to God, within. Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within each of us. Salvation has no affect if you do not connect to God. A prayer without heart leaves you without God once again but the way to the Father is to connect to His love. To connect to His love you must choose to love yourself unconditionally in order to open the energetic path that sends a direct current of pure energy to God’s Love.

You cannot pretend or force this but it must be a choice. Like you plug a lamp into the current of electricity to light it up, you must go within yourself and purposely plug back into God’s love. Remember that your darkness within, your doubt and fear within about yourself, exists only because there is an absence of light. It truly is that simple and it is your choice to break out of the mindset that has kept you trapped in darkness.

Called By God

Why do people treat you wrongly? Who are you that the universe would spend so much time trying to destroy you? The experiences in your life cloud the real reasons why you were born and you get caught in a fight/flight battle. You become focused on the mini battles instead of seeing the bigger picture.

In the life of David we know he experienced the very same feelings. As a shepherd who became king, his life struggled too. Overcoming hurtful experiences while desiring his own personal growth he wrote Psalms of struggle and victory and left them for us to relate to and to not get discouraged. His messages encourage all to keep the faith.

In the course of everyday life we experience many ups and downs. It’s not easy to live in this day and age but when we know that God knows the bigger picture, we can have faith that He is guiding our path. The complexities of our world and the attitudes of fear and anger keep us in battles that will not be solved quickly. The way to finding your own inner peace is learning how to stay out of the battles and not getting attached emotionally when you do have to enter a battle.

Who are you and why are you here is the question we often ask ourselves in the journey we walk? When you were given life it was a gift from God to share with the earth your talents while at the same time learning the importance of drawing closer in oneness to Him, in working out your own salvation. Remember salvation is the result of a relationship with God. You can only receive salvation when your relationship with God becomes a reality. It becomes the result of your intent and not by accident.

To simply focus on your talents without working on your relationship with God is what disconnects you from God’s pure love and keeps you in a struggle. Drawing closer to God, knowing how to pray for His help and the power of faith is the link to Oneness with Him. If you are not connected then all your talents cannot be fully empowered. It’s like having a rocket built to launch, fueled up and ready to go, but you send it in the wrong direction. You cannot put the cart before the horse as the old saying goes. You cannot walk forward if you don’t have your feet firmly planted on the ground. You cannot drive a car to the correct destination if you don’t have a plan. God is the reason you are here and you need Him as your director.

Many people have done amazing things in our world. Many have earned incredible amounts of money but it’s not what we have that is as important as what we do with what we have. When you understand that God made you on purpose and you see that you are actually called to join Him on a plan that will help the world, it is then you see the importance of putting God first. He will help you grow in your own faith, He will help you discover your talents and then He will send you in the direction where you can share with the world.

Think of a mighty oak tree for a moment. The soil the seed was put in could have been barren for many years. It might have appeared to the human eye that this field had nothing to offer. A seed may have been blown by the wind or planted on purpose but no matter what, a seed died in order for new life to come forth. We have to die to our own beliefs that say we have no direction, no reason for all that we are going through, if we are going to set in motion the plan of our lives.

God put His son on this earth for a reason. Jesus was called by God to be the seed of New Life. Nothing is by accident but in fact was planned by God, to become a reality in His timing. The mighty oak tree that stands in the once barren field is now surrounded by many trees and gives a home to thousands of birds and various animals. The song from the branches lifts the spirit of people who pass by. It is a song of joy and hope which cannot be fully explained. It leaves us with something deeper that puts in us a seed that life is truly a plan by a loving Father and He never leaves us alone. We see the end result and we glorify God for giving us this amazing tree full of life but there was a day when there was no hope of anything ever occupying that field. Our life has to begin with a belief that we were no accident.

Your life is more than your struggles but while living you don’t see the bigger picture. Today we see the completion of David’s life but he didn’t have access to this. He was living the day-by-day experience and often he didn’t understand why things were happening. When you understand that this is how life is for all of us you also see the importance of having faith in God and praying for His guidance.

David needed faith more than ever in the continuance of his life. This is a powerful message for us right now. Not to worry, not to think our life is worthless, but to know we are called by God and in the timing, when the walk has progressed we will know more about why we have been called by God. If we worry and take on a mindset that depresses us we will lose our joy and oftentimes this changes how we see things.

When you look through clouded lenses you cannot see the joy all around you today, and you may not see what God has to reveal to you. Taking on hopelessness or a pity party can actually send you down a long road of no return. Many people have been on the right track but something happened and thru despair they began walking in a different direction and never returned to the path of God’s intent. Don’t let this be how your life ends. Take back control and put, on purpose, God in the pilots seat.

Our vision is affected by our mindset, by how we understand life and things that come to us in the journey. If our vision is like a smoke screen and we cannot see any further than what is in front of us, then we will have to clear the smoke first. Getting depressed with your life only delays your ability to engage in the path God has prepared for you. God has given us provision by explaining the need for faith and hope. When we have faith we don’t let things knock us down so quickly. We learn to put our hands in God’s and know He knows the way thru the storm. Each time you do this you grow with understanding that God has your back and He is working a bigger plan that is not visible at this time.

You are here on purpose and you are not an accident. You didn’t come here to lose at life but in fact all your struggles are simply to put muscles on your walk. God allows you to walk your choices but He never leaves you. God knows you are unique and your understanding at the time makes your choices. They are not to destroy you but to help you grow, having victory not only over the details but victory in your thinking.

When you know God is on your side, you know His love for you is Unconditional Love. It is a love that has no conditions and it is always and forever with you. If you knew who you were from the beginning you might not wander off so quickly. But one of the main reasons you don’t know is because your purpose in life requires you to walk a path of your current choices in your current situations and where God placed you on this planet in order to fulfill why He called you.

God is magnificent and He holds in His hand the reason for your life until you can take it back and finish it. He waits for you to be ready to take it and when you are He will guide you to finish. If you didn’t have the struggle and create a new understanding of faith and hope, you wouldn’t be prepared to embark on the journey of a lifetime, your calling.

Put away doubt, break away from the battles that have put a ball and chain around you, and take God’s hand. I promise you He has so much waiting for you in this life that will bring a joy unexplainable. Get ready because your life has just begun to bring enormous blessings and joy your way.

You CAN Move Past Your Troubles

Heal Thyself

Luke 4:23

“And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.”

In some interpretations they believed that Jesus’ message here was that He alone could heal and there was no other way. However, Jesus would soon leave the earth and He knew this. He wanted us to have the tools to see how we could grow spiritually and become all that His Father created us to be. Jesus prepared the path for greater healing by showing us what was available and the need for us to be all we are created to be.

God puts Himself in all of His creation. The path to healing is within because God is within. The kingdom of God is within and the only way to heal thyself is to go to your source, God within you. The beautiful part of understanding this is that you are never without the ability to get help. God is not somewhere else but is truly within you.

It’s true that when we focus on healing ourselves we change how we see the world and our own problems. Attending to one’s own faults instead of pointing out the faults of others is the beginning of true wisdom. Remember that when you physically point a finger at someone else in a gesture, three fingers point back at you. It’s not because everything is your fault but it’s to show you that blaming others puts a greater burden on your own condition.

The very act of blaming others causes you to take off the responsibility you have for helping yourself. It puts the focus on others so that you cannot see that the reason for your hurt and pain is really how you feel about yourself. When you feel good about yourself no matter what others feel about you, you embrace the unconditional love that created you.

When you feel fearful or frustrated about how others treat you, the root is empowered by how you feel inside about ‘Y-O-U’. If you knew who you were, spiritually, you wouldn’t allow the results of your interactions with people on earth to define you. Just because they persecute you and expect you to take their opinion of ‘you’ as truth, doesn’t mean it is the truth.

To move past your troubles requires your willingness to see who you really are in the eyes of God. You are a spiritual being who was given the gift of life on earth in an effort to grow. The external limitations you encounter here are to help you gather spiritual muscles. To move past the ‘limitations’ you face in the material world begins when you are willing to get your attention off those things and focus your attention on what is going on inside of you—inside your inner world.

Blaming others is a survival skill we take on in this world in an effort to help us feel good about ourselves. It is a temporary bandaid but never really solves the reasons why we get wounded on earth. You heal the blows of life by putting blame on others but you don’t stop future blows from attacking you. Or you heal the blows of life by taking all the blame on yourself which only cripples you more. God never intended you blame yourself for everything.

If you don’t get to the root of the problem as to why you get hurt then you will encounter more of the same in the future. Why? Because God gave life here on earth to help us grow as spiritual beings and if you never move past a ‘belief’ you carry about yourself that continues to put you in the line of fire then all you are doing is what Einstein called insanity. “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

The truth is you are far from insane. You are a brilliant creation from a Father that created the universe and all the worlds it contains. You are a creator because God is within you. God is Supreme but you are made in His image and likeness so never put yourself down.

Blaming others keeps you from taking back your life. Blaming yourself keeps you from growing because it locks you into shame and fear. The answer is to stop passing the buck on others for your problem and take back control of your own growth. Yes, you might be responsible for some of the results you are encountering in the troubles of your life but it’s not to take you down. What you encounter is an opportunity to reveal to you interesting information about life on earth and about yourself. Yes, others may have hurt you intentionally but that is between them and God. Blaming them only creates a distraction from what needs to happen in your growth.

You can accept that others might have hurt you and intended it to destroy you but let this be the end of your interest in their decision. It is what it is and you can’t change anyone but yourself. Stop analyzing their problems and stop engaging with them. Remove yourself from those scenarios so that you can begin your own healing. Sometimes the only way out of the madness that goes on in relationships in this world is to simply walk away from the battles and go to place where you can get the help God is waiting to give you. It’s not selfish to leave them for a time but actually the only way you can, not only help yourself but give them opportunity to help themselves. If the battle isn’t raging then there is more time to reflect.

You can accept that you also did some damage in scenes of life where others were hurt or angry but understand that we all make these mistakes. Sometimes the wounds of life have mounted so high the only way left to react is in survival mode. Have compassion for yourself but remember that if you knew better you would do better and that is your new goal. To learn about yourself and heal thyself with God’s help.

Relationships are often quite challenging. Accept you are in a human situation on a planet where these kinds of things brew but don’t let your mistakes define who you really are. We all make mistakes but the only way to move past them is to not take them as life and death but as a learning experience. As we encounter criticism and hurt from others we tend to take them personal and think we did something to deserve all of it. Remember that each of us do unto others the things that reflect the inner struggles we carry about ourselves as well as our beliefs.

When you see someone hurting you over and over it is natural to defend. It’s part of the atmosphere of living here on earth. When you begin to heal within you have a greater ability to not react and to actually see another’s pain inside themselves. But until that time it’s best to have few words and to remove yourself from difficult situations so that you can begin the healing within yourself.

To heal thyself requires you to see your life as a gift and not to destroy your joy and happiness.

Your Life Isn’t What You Think!

Have you ever felt like someone was picking on you? Do you feel you have one bad break after another? We all feel this way at times and yet some feel it more than others. It seems that some are luckier or is this only as it seems?

Step away for a moment and see your life from a higher perspective.  You have been challenged because you have something very important to accomplish but as long as you remain in the belief that you are unfortunately being persecuted, you will never see what God sees and what God has planned just for you.

Remember the stories you have read of people who have risen out of very difficult circumstances and have inspired all of us to do the same. Do you think that they had it easy? Their stories inspire us because they had courage to believe that they were more than what they appeared to be.

As we live our lives, daily, we see a very small part of the picture, the bigger picture of why we are here and who we really are.  If you could see what God’s purpose is for your life, you would be in awe! If you could see how God sees you, the special creation He purposely and carefully created, when creating you as an individual and who is able to bring God’s Unconditional Love through you, you would be amazed! You would not doubt God and His love for you any longer. But instead you feel hopeless, doomed to a life without reason. You must begin to choose how to see yourself.

The eagle flies high above the earth and the rocks that trip us up aren’t even visible.  The words of an inconsiderate individual have no substance. The things that keep us stuck are not even seen from a higher view of our lives.  The deep crevice we fall into has a way out, that isn’t visible to our eyes.  We can’t see the green pasture that is only a reach away, and holds a garden plentiful of food waiting for us, if only we believed. We don’t understand how close we are to living a life empowered because we choose how to see ourselves.

In our journey we remain stuck on the path that is never meant to stop us because we allow many things we encounter to become more powerful than God ever intended. Such as a broken relationship in our teens that sets us on a path to prove to others it was meant to be, only to see many years down the road, it was never good for us in the first place.

We waste years trying to look like we were right in a choice that was never meant for us to take. Why? It’s because as the ego rules this planet, we loose precious time on paths that keep us wandering in the wilderness. We never find the path God intended, and we remain stuck, believing that bad things happen to us because we are no good. We can’t find the faith we need because we don’t believe we are good and meant for great things.

If we only could see that the journey is not for the swift, the quick, and the winners but is for the wise that long for what they can become as a result of the experiences. Our lives, one foot in front of the other, are meant for great things but this greatness that can be in alignment with God is only achieved when we understand that the journey’s potholes are only temporary. We are meant to fly but not until we believe in our purpose will we ever move out of the things that we defined as bad.

I bring to your attention a man in the Bible who felt the sting of life over and over again and yet he didn’t deserve this kind of treatment. Joseph in the Old Testament was a man often mistreated and yet rose above difficult circumstances. He overcame enormous obstacles by committing himself to a goal beyond what is ever written, and with enormous determination.

In reading Joseph’s life many times, I continue to find something new. It is hard to not be moved each time he rises out of adversity or suffering, with an even greater oneness to God Almighty. Joseph proves to us that when bad things keep happening for no apparent reason one cannot afford to feel like the victim. If Joseph had felt like he deserved these things that kept happening, he would have remained in the pit his brothers threw him into and we would have never seen the bigger picture, planned by God, for his life.

To be a true overcomer one must look beyond the earthbound struggles of the circumstances and remember that no one can define you. As long as you think you deserve something you never learn how to see beyond the circumstances. If you can’t see above and beyond the earthbound struggles you are going through, then you cannot raise your understanding of life and see why things happen.

The journey of our lives take us many places and with each place we go we learn more about ourselves, as it is intended we do. The stops along the way are temporary detours where we may choose to reflect and grow but never stay for too long. Knowing we are destined for more than hard times, keeps us looking ahead. The struggles, the potholes, the negative voices, all help us learn about ourselves.

We learn how to make better decisions as well as not letting other people’s struggles become our own. We learn to pray for them but not allow them to take us down. We learn compassion by allowing God to help those we cannot help. We forgive, remembering we too have made mistakes, while freeing ourselves from carrying a weight never meant for us to carry.

Joseph chose over and over to deliberately move past unfair offenses, to overcome enormous obstacles, and model an example of forgiveness. It is often said to err is human but to forgive is divine, and this is what connects us to our higher self and our Creator.

Purpose of Knowledge

A little girl went to her grandmother and asked her why do so many grownups fight over their opinions of God? She told her grandmother that God loves everyone, so why fight? Her grandmother, who lived thru many years of family arguing, simply told her that it was more important to appear to have won than to see the beauty of God’s love.

When we see a child know what is true and what is useless, it is then that all the knowledge we accumulate has little use to empower us. Knowledge is power only when you take away your need to be right, because only then can you see clearly.

Religions have many teachings and yet they do not understand how much time is wasted in trying to control people by keeping the teachings set in stone. Religious teachings are given to the human world in an effort to help each grow.

The true purpose of a teaching is to set you free and not to control you. The only way to become empowered by a teaching is to allow the teaching to be a stepping-stone for more growth and not four walls that entraps you from within.

Many people have received teachings from the Spiritual Realm and have often shared them with the world. Thru this we have become more and more aware of our spiritual identities. So why do we continue to engage in arguments, many causing war all over the world? It’s pride fueled by the ego.

The ego that causes the teacher to believe they have all the answers or the final answer is why we still loose the ability to rise higher. When we take on this belief, we stop any higher understanding we could receive from within our own being.

The Age of Aquarius is not the age for the individual hero but for a joint effort in which humanity becomes empowered as a community.  We must first understand that when a teaching is presented to us, it becomes living, and breathing. The teaching speaks to our individual heart and we interpret it according to how we see our world.

This is how a teaching empowers us to become more, to become independent yet still of the whole. Think of the body and how each part has a unique understanding of it’s responsibility to the whole, and yet with a group effort the parts raise up the whole as one.

You are a child of the Living God, who loves you unconditionally and you are to hear the teachings according to your true identity and the reason you have come to earth at this time. Don’t divide yourself from your brother or sister when you understand something differently but unite by accepting that we are all different.

Our differences allow us to transform our world when we work together for one cause. Our individuality is the most precious gift given to us by God. We are individual co-creators who have God living within us. We each have come to earth with unique God-flames to share with the world and we see things according to how we need to see them.

When someone takes away your personal power of your unique individuality by controlling you with a teaching, they also stop the flow of Unconditional Love that God has sent thru you. We must be the individuals we came to be. We cannot be afraid to make a mistake and refuse to connect to our inner creativity.

God multiplies our talents. If we refuse to share them or send them into the world then we will never be any more than what we currently are today.  Becoming submissive to a teaching instead of allowing ourselves to become more from it, traps the teaching in stone and stops our growth.

The one major block in our spiritual growth is found in how we see ourselves when we receive a higher teaching. This alone can stop the human race from rising out of our dilemma. If a teacher could receive a teaching and leave behind the ego, that teacher could help us.

In other words when a teaching causes us to inflate ourselves and we believe that we can define ourselves by overpowering others, the potential for growth diminishes. In order for our world to begin to rise above the mindset of religions that divide us we must come into unity with one another and put away the need to be in the spotlight.

When we stop warring amongst each other we will find that the teachings that have been given throughout the history of mankind, have more wisdom to share with us even now. They are living and breathing, waiting to give a higher understanding today.

Let us see that the most important part of life on earth is seeking to raise the whole, the All and not in seeking to raise up the self. For when we do, it is then we lay aside our differences and the teachings empower us to become more. Change will happen when we understand how powerful our Oneness is.

We become more of who we are as spiritual beings, the joy we experience will go beyond what we ever imagined. Putting away the need to raise up yourself, will allow you to see the world thru the eyes of God’s love, and you will find a greater peace in which you can grow.
