Truth is the building block a lie can teardown.

Truth is the building block a lie can teardown.

In reference to plagiarism, one article said it best in a simple statement, “Plagiarism is an equal opportunity transgression.”(Di Pierro, 2011)  The chosen example will shows that plagiarism reaches not only students just starting out, nor the Business Executive, but Political Executives as well.  The chosen example is Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.  In an article posted in February of 2013, by Simon Shuster, he references (as it states it) “Open secrets”(Simon Shuster, 2013) about many of the business leaders and politicians in Russia.  His article puts a spotlight on a growing problem relating to plagiarism resulting in falsely acquired degrees. (Simon Shuster, 2013)

In the case of Putin, it was first noted by “Researchers Clifford Gaddy and Igor Danchenko”(Strauss, 2014) in a study done in 2005 after gaining a copy of his thesis paper.  Findings released in 2006 shows evidence of text taken from a “1978 textbook, “Strategic Planning and Public Policy,” written by University of Pittsburgh Professors David I. Cleland and William R. King.”(Strauss, 2014)  “Gaddy said that the thesis did include the King/Cleland textbook in the bibliography,”(Strauss, 2014) but no citations, quotation marks, nothing in the footnotes, nor a mention of their names were found in the content of the text anywhere. (Strauss, 2014)

Dmitri Medvedev announced plans to Government officials in Russia to make attempts to rectify the problem.  IN that attempt, Igor Fedyukin was put in charge in order to purge the problem with fake degrees.  Fedyukin was a rookie “with a Ph.D. in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.”(Simon Shuster, 2013)  Even though the attempts to purge the problem have made some progress, the article alludes to the theory that not all guilty parties will be held accountable.  “When the subject turned to Putin and other high-ranking officials, Fedyukin became jittery.”(Simon Shuster, 2013)

Shusters article goes on to mention that outside of the academic circle, the problem has little attention.  Though as time passes more attention sheds even more light on the problem some desire to sweep under the rug, some may slip through the cracks and go unpunished. This does not change the fact that plagiarism can/will create issues that eventually stem far beyond the boundaries of the Academic realm.  Liberty Student code views plagiarism as it “misrepresents the truth, invents facts, or distorts the origin.”(LU, 2014)  Best example is stealing thoughts and ideas that are not original to the individual expressing those thoughts or ideas. (Strauss, 2014), (“The Graduate School | LU Online Honor Code | Liberty University,” 2014)

It breaks down trust, and as stated before; that is when it reaches beyond the academic realm.  It effecting the students, schools, reaching into social networks of society, which in the long-run can degrade the morals and credibility of society as a whole, and in-turn affect the economy.  So for one to resort to plagiarism is not just robing themselves of a chance to gain knowledge through that avoided research, but it is stealing someone’s thoughts or ideas they worked so hard to obtain.  Proverbs 28:6 “6 Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.” (NIV2011)  They may be hurting individuals they never see as well, like a ripple effect.  The best way to look at it is how bad do you want it, and to still it is obtaining nothing for one’s self, but taking from others what is theirs.  God has a rule against plagiarism (stealing), Exodus 20:15 15“You shall not steal.” (NIV2011)  Doing all things as if one is doing it for God, this will keep one on the straight and narrow path. Matthew 7:14 “14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (NIV2011)

Strive for the finish line: keep in the presence of the saints.

God continues to show that He can bring strength even in our weakness.  “Samson’s name (Hebrew, shimshon) means “sunny” or “of the sun.”(Hindson, 2003, p. 123)  Born from the weakest of Israel, he was given strengths by God that were unmatched by any other.  With this strength came conditions, and over time flesh always seems to move in the way.  “He was a “holy child,” uniquely dedicated to God.”(Hindson, 2003, p. 124)  Even so; his selfishness and lustful nature led him to make errors in judgment that led to broken promises.

He got involved with the wrong crowed if one chooses to look at it that way.  Even though it was females, this is one of the problems many struggle with today.  There are some elements in one’s life that should be limited as to the contact one has with them.  This needs to apply to friends as well as family, there should be no exceptions and should be viewed from a Godly level as to how these limits are set and who with.

This is your life you are playing with, so should there be exceptions in your life that are not quite what you would want to present to God?  This is one that you can say your life depends on.  Life proves you become a product of the environment you are in, or keep.  Some say no, but being in any environment long enough will start to impute elemental traits or habits in one that (depending on the environment) may be good or bad.  God reveals this to you, and this is one of the reasons He asks you not to be unequally yoked (learn the meaning of that), and even to keep in the presents of the saints.  Not forsaking the fellowship is for more than one reason (there is a list of reasons).

With Samson; even-though there are many more elements to the story, the for-mentioned is one that stands prominent in my life today. This is not talking about other women, nor being in the midst of the wrong crowd.  It is about the underlining element that cannot be seen in the words, but is at the source of the problem.  The selfishness of me to hold on to my will, and failure to fully submit to God what should be His.

Though my strengths differ greatly from Samson’s, my strengths seem to fall in the background when feelings and emotions (concerning wants/needs of self) come into play.  My obligations to God should come before all else, but many times that is not the case.  Sometimes it seems like I make strides forward, only to wind-up taking two steps backwards.  When one is not letting the Spirit lead, they lose stride and fall behind or even get ahead.  Doing so only leads to failure, and sometimes it comes fast, or slow, but it will come.  Samson eventually comes to terms with his destiny Judges 16:28 KJV, he submitted to God and done what was needed. (Hindson, 2003, p. 134)

Whether it be in my strengths, or my weaknesses; God must come first if I am to draw closer to Him.  There will be days where I fail, but to stay down is failure.  The victory is gaining the strength and courage to know you were wrong, and calling on God to be your strength so you can stand.  I will continue to strive for the finish line and gain my prize, I thank God it’s not pillars on my head.

Out-side of God

God is Divine, He is Righteous, and He is Just in all His ways.  But His Anger is kindled, and there is a day appointed in which this Anger will be poured out on the Earth.  God has made a way for all to escape this wrath, but it is a path that will cause pain to the flesh, but healing to the Spirit.  It will cause divisions in one’s family, but unity in His people. It condemns the flesh, while redeeming the Soul.  The truth is out there, but be alert in ones search for it. It may seem allusive, or hidden even, but it lies in plain sight.  God is a mystery, but He has made His truth known to us. (As the Father, He created all-things.)  In the beginning God created all things, and in the Garden He spoke of Him-self coming down to redeem us. (As the Son; He revealed all things.)  In the Old-Testament; He revealed the truth of His coming. (As the Spirit; He redeemed all-things.)  In the New-Testament; He revealed Him-Self.

To know God is to know Jesus; for in Him dwells the fullness of the Head in the bodily form.  In that name should all things be done, out-side of that name; one are out-side of God.  Out-side of God lies sin, and this is all He sees, not one, and not the good that one does, but SIN… Search ones heart, and search for truth. When one make a purchase, does one settle for the first thing that comes ones way?  NO, so don’t settle when it comes to God.  The way is to-narrow to take a chance, so why just listen to what sound good, or a word that moves ones spirit for a moment. Fall on ones face and worship Him, fall on ones face in praise to Him.  Loose the feeling of pride and humble oneself, in service there is a voice that rings out that needs to humble it-self.

God wants our praise and worship, but to hinder others in the way that the Bible tells one not to do is wrong.  Humble oneself in prayer, and leave the sermon to the ordained giver of that sermon. Unite in worship and don’t lead if He has not chosen one to lead.  Around this voice is a feeling that repels, but around Gods’ people one is drawn in.  To know we are not to trust our feelings is understood; these are the words chosen to give the means to understand, but inside; which cannot be fully expressed, it is more than mere feeling.  As being evident by the out-ward actions; there resides much pride, and little submission to the ones above them.

For a Husband; who is above them, and for a Wife; who is above them?  To know that God sees the equality of man-kind is understood; yet, in order to fully understand God, one needs to keep order in ways that God has lain it out.  In doing so; is not to reduce, or belittle the lesser of man-kind, but it is by man that the world has plunged in to darkness.  Likewise; even though it is Gods’ desire for all to spread the Gospel, He has not suffered woman to endure the relentless and trying task, it is by man should the Word of redemption be proclaimed.  (Even though there are times when no man is found for the task, in which case God uses what He desires) it has been placed primarily in the hands of the one that gave doorway to the sins entrance to the world.  By the grace of God that same Flesh has made a doorway out of that nature of sin. (Jesus Christ)

Give Him ones worship, ones praise; but, in all things follow His word to the letter as much as one can. Do what is in ones power to do, and trust in Him for the rest. But do it in the name of Jesus, by the Word of God, and not ones understanding of it.

More Than a Person: I AM…

More than a Person: I AM

(The first definition for persons is):

“noun \ˈpər-sən\

: A human being

: A person who likes or enjoys something specified

Law: the body or clothing of a person especially when considered as a place to hide things”

“(Origin of PERSON)

Middle English, from Anglo-French persone, from Latin persona actor’s mask, character in a play, person, probably from Etruscan phersu mask, from Greek prosōpa, plural of prosōpon face, mask — more at prosopopoeia

First Known Use: 13th century”

(The third definition on the list is):

“3) a:  one of the three modes of being in the Trinitarian Godhead as understood by Christians

:  the unitary personality of Christ that unites the divine and human natures”

Looking past E, J, Documents and so-on; with the many references that make Moses the author of the first five book, this gives no evidence to the claims that one is diverse from the other as to whom it speaks of.  God is the same with whatever name HE chooses to use.  God said He never changes (Malachi 3:6 KJV), and that He is the only God and shares that glory with NO-ONE (Isaiah 42:8 KJV).  So this would mean He is the same in the Old, as well as the New.

The Old Testament references God as the only Savior (Isaiah 43:11 KJV), and speaks of the Savior coming (Zechariah 9:9 KJV).  One of the names He could be called by is Almighty God (Isaiah 9:6 KJV), meanwhile God has not changed and tells many times there is no other God, even states it as no God before, or after Him (Isaiah 43:8-12 KJV).

Now in the New Testament, we have Jesus being the Savior that was to come (2 Timothy 1:10 KJV).  The image of the invisible God, in the form of a body that is visible (Colossians 1:15 KJV).  States He and His Father are one (John 10:30 KJV) (Him by the way, declared the Father (John 1:18 KJV), and who is worthy to declare that which is of Gods but God (Isaiah 44:6-8 KJV) (Isaiah 45:19 KJV), (Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV).  He has been glorified (John 13:31-32 KJV) in the Fathers Glory seeing as though the Father is God (Ephesians 4:6 KJV), who by the way shares His Glory with NO-ONE (Isaiah 42:8 KJV).

(Note): one thing to notice with the later of the two definitions given above;

The third-definition for person is based on the understanding of a select group, and cannot even include all of that group named above; as these views varie by each individual, and solely based on their understood view of truth as seen through their eyes.  Since this word can mean face, and no man can see Gods face and live (Exodus 33:20-23 KJV); but some have seen His face and lived (Genesis 32:30 KJV) in the Old Testament how would this be possible if; with looking at the face of God, would certainly bring death?  This just shows that God can do what man is not able to comprehend.  God had a face that could be seen, and would not bring death.  This same face would be the only face that could come and be seen of men, while dwelling among them.

Some would use the forms God moves in to say that He is three separate, but united in one.  This statement contradicts itself, because separate dictates distinct division and God said He is not divided.  To say God is three is the same as saying He is divided, which shows a lack of understanding His Word, and does not align with what the Bible teaches.  The truth was revealed to the Apostles through the bodily image of God on earth, in whom dwelt the very same face that appeared to the Old Testament Prophets.  To change their teachings, or rearrange them many years after their death is disregarding their truths that were to be taught to the generations.  If three were revealed to them they would have plainly taught it.  They knew God is one, and that God used more than one way to show Himself.

If one called someone over the phone, showed up in person, or sent them an email this would not change the fact that it was still the same distinct single individual.  Although the previous is in relation to comunication, it does show that the one can be revealed in more than one form.  God is God, and has revealed all things pertaining to this life that we need to know.  The main thing to focus on is the form of the Son, without Him there is no need to concerned one-self about who the Father is seeing as though that individual’s life eternal will be consumed by the pains of hell.  Knowing His love and how much of an importance He desires the relationship with us, to the point He Himself entered the body form and as a man, died for nothing He did.  To come to know that kind of love and show it to others is the most important part of knowing God.  Knowing that love, one comes to know God intimately.

The Manifestation of the Trinity and the Revelation of the Oneness Combined to Complete the GOD Head

There will always be an unanswered question about The Father, and Of the Son, and Of the Holy Spirit.  We can only use our analytical knowledge to speculate as to the true answer.  This is because we as humans; in all our vast understanding about very little, we will never come to agree.  We can on the other hand agree to disagree.  Still yet; can it be so simple that we dare not even render it even a moment of thought.  In this voice of one can be added quote after quote from the Bible of your choosing.  Yet, it would further confuse the over analyzed mind of man.  Can it just be said, even as He stated, by first being last and the last being first, meanwhile God being the source of all three.

First mentioned form is the Spirit, in which God is manifest in thought and action.  Thought being the Word spoken, and the Spirit acting on that thought.  There was a form in the Old Testament, but was not fully made known in that time.  The New Testament brought that form in to existence beyond all doughty, yet this can only be based on your belief, along with the Bible being the uncontested word of God.  In this form; God could coexist alongside the creation that He designed.  With our little understanding we know that purity cannot coexist with impurity.  God in true form would have brought this World to ruins just by his appearance on Earth.

So we see that this was needed, and also to appear in the form of the lost.  Purpose being to take on that form, and to restore it to its glory in which it was designed.  This only being completed in the continuous presence of Christ Jesus.  The completion of this bringing on the fullness of the Godhead.  God fully manifesting Himself in the manner that was need in that season.  God shows us in all things that everything has a purpose and season in which that form is needed.  Like the flowers in summer is need to replenish new growth, and winter is need to keep balance in nature; so shall the fullness of the Godhead be revealed.

God is so much more than form, yet we are so stuck on what we see, or to what degree it can be analyzed.  Meanwhile we miss out on so much of His glory in doing so.  This brings in to remembrance that saying from Shakespeare, to be or not to be.  Only in the form of to believe or not to believe that is the real question.  This is only a glimpse of an endless topic, but it’s a hope of one to focus less on the revelation and more on the redemption.  Seeing as though this is the purpose of this same manifestation anyway.  To God be the glory of all in the end.
